A little Brief About This Site
This website started as a blog where it was a one-man show back in 2011, I come from a long line of jewelers – 4th generation. Even though I’m not in the business myself, because of my family and decades of being exposed to the business I know the ins and outs of diamonds, jewelry, and how the industry works.
The one thing I have learned is that you don’t need to be an expert to shop for a diamond, but by knowing the key basics, like which of the 4Cs is most important, where you should buy a diamond, and the importance of buying the stone first, you can make a much wiser decision.
Today, SelectingaDiamond.com has a team of diamonds experts who have tens of years of knowledge in diamonds industry and how this business works.
Why We Created This Website?
Even though I haven’t been engaged myself, I have a lot of buddies who have been engaged. They know I have connections with the diamond industry, so I get a lot of questions from them on how to buy the best diamond at the best price. And I have to keep repeating the same information over and over.
So, it started by putting it all into this website, hoping is to help my friends (and now thousands of our website readers) who are getting engaged or want to get a diamond. No guy should live with the pressure of buying the perfect rings. So, my real answer why I am building this website is that I am doing a service to guy hood, and myself!
How We Maintain Our Website?
We offer all this information for free, actually we want you to save your money and spend it on what matters, help our readers on case by case, all free of charge.
While this takes a lot of time, effort, and experience, we had chosen to partner with some of the most reputable diamonds online vendors like JamesAllen, Blue Nile & Whiteflash in a way that when we send our readers to their stores, and they make a purchase, we get a commission, from the store profit not from yours at all, you’ll always have the same price regardless of website referred from.
This allows us to put more effort and try to help more people save their money, find their perfect diamond, and get engaged.
